Global lactation practice uses Spruce to connect with patients & healthcare professionals quickly

Pump with Purpose, LLC is a global lactation private practice servicing the breastfeeding community across the world and was started due to a recognized lack of resources and assistance in lactation for people that want to include pumping in their journey, either exclusively or in addition to nursing.

A bit about the business…

Dr. Dianna Dixon, DPA, CLC, CBS, is a Doctor of Public Administration, Certified Lactation Counselor, and Certified Breastfeeding Specialist and started this practice because she has a sincere interest in helping underrepresented groups. She wants to be an additional resource on the breastfeeding journey, to assist with incorporating pumping in a way that works. She is a wife and mother of two boys that are 18 months apart. She has been pumping on her second journey for over 3 years. To date, she has owned over 200 pumping products!

How long have you been doing it?

Pump with Purpose was officially started in May 2021.

What first brought you to Spruce?

To communicate securely with my clients and communicate with other health care professionals and practices.

How do you use Spruce at work?

I send and receive phone calls, send and receive faxes, and as I expand our team, we also use it for team communication.

What is your favorite Spruce feature?

Communicate securely with clients and other practices. It is also our back-up telehealth system if needed to conduct video sessions.

What do you like to do most when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I like to spend time with my family. I have a husband and two little boys that are 18 months apart.
