Tell us about your business.

As a geek who loves gaming, Dungeons and Dragons, and various other geek culture activities, I enjoy connecting the stories we witness and create to the therapeutic experience. We often use these activities to cope with pain we face, as the stories within these forms of media are based on the human experience. Even though painful experiences are inevitable, I believe that suffering does not have to hold us back from living. Engaging in geek culture can assist us in reducing that suffering, which is why I have completed Leyline’s Geek Cultural Competency Program and continue to attend their awesome trainings.

I specialize in working with adults in the areas of trauma, anxiety, mood disorders, grief and loss, life transitions, relationship issues, spirituality, self-esteem/self image, and women’s issues. I have been in private practice since 2016 and moved my practice solo in 2021.

What first brought you to Spruce?

I searched and was seeking a service for secure messaging, e-mail, phone, text, and fax for my practice.

How do you use Spruce at work?

I use Spruce as my source of primary communication between clients as well as to receive secure faxes.

What is your favorite Spruce feature?

My favorite feature is the secure messaging feature.

What do you like to do most when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I like to do creative hobbies and hang out with my cats.
