Primary Care Clinic Prioritizes Patient Communication with Spruce

Meet NoCo Primary Care, a direct primary care practice for the whole family, located in Loveland, Colorado. Dr. Phillip Rhoads and team provide transparent pricing, easy access, and health care focused on the patient-physician relationship.

A bit about the business…

The practice launched to support patients who want easy access to a doctor, transparent pricing, and great customer service. Unfortunately, high deductibles keep many patients from getting the care that they need, or there is frustration around having to wait weeks to see a doctor. NoCo Primary Care believes they can do better, and exist to provide easy access to a doctor, for a clear monthly fee, making patients and their health the priority.

Dr. Rhoads is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. He received his Medical Degree from the University of Arkansas in 1998, and finished a dual residency in Adult Internal Medicine and Pediatrics in 2002. He practiced in Northwest Arkansas for 10 years before he and his family decided to move to Colorado in 2013. He has been in practice in Fort Collins since then, and his passion for helping patients to the best of his ability led him to start his own practice in 2018.

What first brought you to Spruce?

Spruce was recommended by a colleague as a great tool for managing patient communication (and so much more!).

How do you use Spruce at work?

NoCo Primary Care uses Spruce for their phone system, patient communication, reminders for to-do’s on patients, and faxing—and for just about all day-to-day logistics.

What is your favorite Spruce feature?

The practice loves the ability to send messages at a later date, as well as streamlined fax management.

What do you like to do most when you’re not working?

I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 boys, rock climbing, mountain biking, adventure racing, and working on (and camping in) my well-used 1977 Airstream trailer.
